I understand the challenge and pressure of finding just the right speaker. In my role at Sugar Hill Church, I am often asked, “Who do you suggest we book for this event?” This is a tough question because I know that a speaker has the potential to make or break an event.

What You Can Expect

Here’s what you can expect from me and my team:

• Prompt, professional replies to your phone calls and email messages.
• A personal phone call with me prior to your event, so I can better understand how I can best serve you and pray for the event.
• My team will work hard to keep my expenses for your event low. I often fly Airtran out of Atlanta, which is usually very reasonable.
• I will not be high-maintenance.
• I will be prayed up and well prepared for your event.
• A quick follow-up communication after the event, to make sure I met your expectations. (I would like to know how you think I can improve.)

A Little Bit About Me

I have been speaking publicly since High School. I have spoken at hundreds of camps, conferences and retreats. Occasionally I preach full-church revivals. I have also contributed to or edited over fifteen books. The newest books I helped on is The First Book Challenge. I have spoken at events of all sizes: individual youth groups, full churches, music festivals, and city-wide events.

I have spent all of my adult life serving in churches and leadership organizations. I currently serve as the Teaching Pastor at Sugar Hill Church near Atlanta, GA. I am also a camp and conference speaker for Global Youth Ministry, an organization committed to reaching the world’s youth. I am a certified coach, speaker and consultant with the John Maxwell Team.

I have been married to my wife, Laura, for just over a year. Together, we lead our church’s young adult ministry. We live outside of Atlanta, Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy riding motorcycles, reading, exercising and writing.
